The Société de Viticulture du Jura has the objective of representing and defending the interests of the members of the winemaking industry of the Jura region. It collaborates with the Organismes de Défense et de Gestion (professional organisations) as well as undertaking actions to protect and promote the wines and spirits using the Jura appellation.
In addition, the organisation also disseminates among the winemakers of the Jura scientific methods of agriculture and vinification, new improvements in winemaking equipment, information on regulations and law, and other subjects of interest to winemakers. |
