In 2007, the two international events organised by Vitagora — the 2nd health & Nutrition International Congress and the 1st "Taste-Nutrition-Health" European Partnership Meetings — were a great success. In 2008, these two events will be merged to form the 3rd Taste-Nutrition-Health International Congress, which will take place the 23rd to the 25th of April at Dijon's Expo Centre.
This event has a unique position at the crossroads of the food industry and health professions. It also serves to highlight the scientific and technological excellence to be found within the Burgundy and Franche-Comté regions of Franche brought together by the cluster Vitagora.
All participants of the Congress will be able to attend conferences, given by leading international experts, and practical workshops on the topics of 'Fats', 'Vitamins' and 'Nutrition and bone metabolism'. Round table debates bringing together leaders of food manufacturing and research will also be organised on the topics of 'Fats' and 'Dietary behaviour'.
The final program for these sessions will be available on the website www.vitagora-sante.com from the 15th of November.
The exhibition hall with 300m² of booths will once more allow participants to highlight their scientific or technological expertise. The Speaker Corner of 2008 will feature a focus of 'Regulation' and 'Presentations of innovative projects'
All participants will also be able to program one-to-one business meetings according to offers and demandes of technologies or scientific expertise.
Finally, the 22nd of April, the CRITT 2ABI (centre for agro-food and bioindustrial technology transfer based in Dijon) is offering a full day training program on the topic "Texturising processes: towards a better taste control of low-fat food"
As well as professionals of the food and health sectors, the Congress also invites members of the public to its Public Opening, with a focus on 'Wine and Nutrition'.
