Job Description :
The duties include technical management and administrative management.

The administrative duties:
Purchasing:
Purchase ingredients, products and services necessary to the company operation. Prospect markets and evaluate supplier's capabilities in providing costs, lead-time, quality and quantity. Negotiate best sales conditions considering technical and commercial targets. Insure the interface between suppliers, production, sales, R&D.
Logistics:
Organize freight in and freight out.
Prospect and negotiate best rates with carriers considering quality of service and efficiency.
Organize importations. Fill in prior notices through FDA website, communication with freight forwarders.
Customer service:
Answer phone calls.
Enter customer orders in the company system.
Prepare order confirmations, bill of lading, invoices.
Basic customer support activities
Accounting:
Cash flow follow-up
Accounting data entry
Invoicing, collection follow-up, payment follow-up for customers and suppliers.

Show organization
Key customer sales management

The technical duties:
Manage production and laboratory activities. Distribute work for production operator and laboratory assistant.
Production:
Prepare, organize, optimize production activities and lead production operators.Contribute to products and process improvements.
Check inventory
Quality assurance:
Coordinate activities to meet quality standards.
Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system and produces data and report on performance, measuring against set indicators.
Quality control:
Validate raw materials and finished products according to specifications.
Conduct rectifications if needed.
R&D:
Estimate customer brief feasibility in Odessa or transfer to Grasse
Select samples according to brief specifications
Modify, concentrate formulas according to brief specifications.
Prepare, organize lab assistant work: select applications for customers demo, tasting sessions
Audits:
Conduct audits with FDA, Rabbi for kosher certifications

General conditions for the job:
The job takes place in the office as long as in production and laboratory. Close collaboration with all services of the company, general management, customers and suppliers.
Position involves business trips and travel to France.

Education and background:
This job requires a college degree or an engineering degree with a speciality in food or chemical industry.
Food safety manager certification is a plus.
