Use case - Cearitis
«“The follow-up points are relevant and constructive, no information is overlooked, and the Vitagora team is very proactive.”
– Marion Canale, President of Cearitis

Cearitis, founded in 2020, develops bio-solutions using attractive and repellent chemical mediators, as well as an autonomous diffuser trap, targeting mainly olive flies, red fruits, and fruits. Their push-pull strategy combines an attractant with a trap and a repellent, specifically targeting pests. In addition, CEARITIS offers agroecology expertise services to assess the health and resilience of orchards and helps farmers implement new solutions.
Their needs
Cearitis had the opportunity to join a consortium on olive tree cultivation and promotion thanks to Vitagora, which identified them for this European call for projects. It was on this occasion that Cearitis discovered Vitagora's activities and became a member. Cearitis then called on Vitagora to help them set up their own project, from drafting the application to obtaining funding.
Solutions provided
- Guidance for optimizing the funding proposal
The proposal benefited from critical and constructive review by the Vitagora team. The detailed comments and relevant questions from the innovation engineers helped clarify the project's objectives and ensure a high-quality application that successfully secured funding.

The Vitagora team consulted Cearitis to draft a summary of the project for the certification committee. This informative and detailed summary prepared by Vitagora is still used today as a reference for communicating technological and innovative elements.

Vitagora advised Cearitis on the financing schemes for which they could apply and acted as an intermediary with the identified financier.
- Ongoing individual follow-up
Regular attention is paid to Cearitis' activities and regular follow-up is carried out through telephone calls and emails in order to facilitate networking opportunities or events of interest.
Results obtained
- Maximizing the chances of success
“The advice provided by the Vitagora team and certification committee contributed positively to the preparation and evaluation of our application. Having the backing of a competitiveness cluster that specializes in our field means that our project has already been reviewed and examined by experts from the private and academic sectors. This is a testament to the quality of their support for scientific and technical projects.”
- Funding obtained
Mission accomplished! The results far exceeded expectations. The PARCELLES project has secured more than €780,000 in grants as part of France 2030, led by Bpifrance.
